Why we built it

Built from a problem we wanted solved.

Managing local search for businesses taught us something: traditional ranking reports don’t show enough. A business doesn’t simply “rank #3.” Its visibility changes depending on where the customer is standing, what they’re searching for, and who else is competing nearby.

So we’re building the tool we wanted ourselves. Not a company that looks unfinished, but a company that builds its own technology because existing tools weren’t giving us what we need.

The idea

Your visibility is not a pin.

One search from one location tells you almost nothing. Your real visibility is a map that changes block by block, and that’s what LocalIntel measures.

We measure how your business ranks from a grid of points across its whole service area, not one search from one spot. The result is a visibility map you can actually read.

See where competitors overlap

Compare your business with a saved competitor on the same map. See the territory you own, where they’re close, and the contested areas where there’s a realistic opportunity to flip.

LocalIntel goes beyond reporting. It identifies specific, prioritised opportunities to improve your Google Business Profile and local presence, each with an evidence and impact rating.

Where it stands

Honest about the status.

LocalIntel is under active development. Argent Foundry clients already benefit from the approach: geographic grid tracking, competitor comparison and prioritised actions are how we run local-search work today.

Longer term, LocalIntel doesn’t have to stay an internal advantage. It could be included for Argent clients, and offered to agencies as a standalone platform.
