01 Case study

AATIA

A website wasn’t enough.

The Austin Area Translators & Interpreters Association has connected the city’s language professionals for 40 years. Behind the public pages sits a whole organization: a member directory, a job board, an events calendar, dues and renewals. A brochure website couldn’t run any of it. We built the site and wired it to the member platform so the two work as one.

The problem

One site. A whole organization.

AATIA is a 40-year-old membership association. Its members need a searchable directory listing so clients can find them by language pair and specialization. Employers need somewhere to post court and medical interpreting roles. There is a calendar of seminars and special-interest groups, plus dues and annual renewals. A conventional brochure site handles none of that, and the old one didn’t. The members were the point, and the point had nowhere to live.

The solution

The public site and the platform, as one.

We built AATIA a modern public site and connected it to its member platform on NeonCRM. The directory lets clients filter by source and target language, area of specialization and certification. The job board takes real postings. Events, membership tiers, joining and renewing all run through the same system. One login. One place.

  • Events, dues, joining and renewing, all through one member platform
  • One login for the public site and the members’ area
  • The organization runs on it, not around it

AATIA feels like home, a place to meet local linguists, learn, and give back. Being listed as a Vietnamese translator has helped people find me.
